Camera Wall
Obviously I love cameras, but I don’t collect them, though, of course, you’d never know it from the number of old and not-so-old cameras I do have. A small subset is shown here. Most of the cameras in the photograph are ones that people have given me. I am always quietly amused at the assumption that I’m a collector, but I take them graciously and for the most part am pleased. There is only one camera in the photograph, the Kodak Duaflex II, which I purloined years ago from my parents house – it hadn’t been used in decades. My Mom took hundreds of photos with this camera. I can only recall her using it a few times though; by the time I was in primary school there were newer, better models and photography really had become so common that it was disposable.
