Kerry Gordon
Coal Seam Gas and Environmental Specialist
Kerry has filled a variety of roles in Coal Seam gas exploration from field work on many projects to Exploration Manager for a specialist publicly listed coal seam gas exploration company. Kerry has managed projects from prospect development to running surface-to-inseam completion production trials and managing resource certification to satisfy listed company requirements.

Kerry also has worked as a senior environmental scientist with 22 years’ experience in the Energy and Mining Industry. Kerry has a background in all facets of multidisciplinary exploration and resource development in complex geological settings worldwide including, geochemical, geotechnical, hydrogeological, environmental and data QA/QC. Kerry has a sound knowledge to working alongside mining professionals involved in resource appraisal.
Kerry has fulfilled senior geological roles throughout his career in New Zealand, Australia, Papua New Guinea and consulted on other projects through Vietnam and Mongolia. Kerry has worked on projects to Exploration Manager level for coal, coal seam gas and gold for publicly listed companies.
Kerry has a diverse range of experience outside of his core geology bringing an extra skillset to exploration. Other roles include working in the mountain guiding industry and managing logistics for a drilling company onshore and offshore from New Zealand.
